About Event

CHEMFLUENCE is the National Level Technical Symposium of the Department of Chemical Engineering, A.C.College of Technology, Anna University. Started in 1994, and organized by the ‘Consortium of Chemical Technologists’- the Student Association of the Dept. of Chemical Engineering, Chemfluence steps into its 22nd year of brilliance this 2016.
Eugene V. Debbs rightly says, “I have no country to fight for; my country is the Earth and I am a citizen of the world”; Chemfluence’16 draws the inspiration for its theme this year, ‘For a better tomorrow’, from this saying. With innovation as its key, the latter is hosting an array of exhilarating events spanning across 3 days - March 18 to 20.
So what are there to look for this Chemfluence :
* Over 20+ Interdisciplinary events
* Workshops on Chemical Engineering Softwares' by the most experienced in the field, serving to IIT's and NIT's
* Guest Lectures and Sessions presided over by experienced delegates flying in from Norway, Japan and Singapore
* Campus Galatta- A stage devoted solely to the art enthusiasts to showcase your skills in dance, dramatics, music and what not.
* An organ donation camp has been organized, in collaboration with the renowned Mohan Foundations group, in order to inculcate values of social responsibility among the future of Earth.
With all this in its basket, Chemfluence will serve as a platform for dexterous youngsters across the nation to exhibit their technical and non-technical prowess as well as approach even grassroot level concepts pragmatically.
What's more to all this is that we have prizes worth more than 2 Lakhs to give away! And many valuable internships and implant trainings at reputed firms for those colleges and students who show overall excellence.
We strongly believe any event is successful only with the satisfaction of its participants. With this in mind, we invite you to join us this March. We promise you that this will truly be a college technical fest, giving you an opportunity to mingle with the student community from across the nation, as over 2500 students from 100+ colleges all over India, are invited as well.
